The application of these skills has been in organisations varying from Inventor led start-ups to established multi-site, multi continent, multi product and heavily acquisitive businesses.
 
My specific skills and experiences include; 
  • Solid Financial and Legal/Contractual background and in depth knowledge and experience built up over 30 years 25 of which at director level. Largely experienced in product led organisations and dealing with inevitable successes and failures associated with such.
  • Management of UK and International subsidiary operations from a financial perspective.
  • Preparation of Business Plans and product focused Information Memorandae.
  • Presentations and dealings/negotiations with Investors and potential Investors including Business Angels, Institutional Investors, High Net Worths and Corporate Advisors.
  • Rebuilding of a business close to bankruptcy and being one of instrumental parties responsible for turning this into a profitable business which stood the test of external scrutiny.
  • Successful completion of Management Buyout and ultimate sale to a major UK plc. including specific responsibility for financial and contractual due diligence process and liaison with business purchasers and their advisors.
  • Business Acquisitions and Disposals when part of a heavily acquisitive UK plc. in the IT industry.
  • Corporate Governance.
  • Harnessing skills of disparate management teams, resolving disputes and focusing on business growth.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience in the Management of Change whilst integrating acquired businesses."
